Ignore the doom-mongers, solar will be a success story
For PV in the US, it is the best of times and the worst of times. There is no looking past the recent deluge of ugly news. Over just a few days, Massachusetts-based Evergreen Solar and Intel-backed SpectraWatt filed for bankruptcy protection, and Solyndra said it would do the same, sparking an orgy of grave dancing in conservative newspapers across the land.
