London: Harwich International Port has won a contract with Aarsleff Bilfinger Berger Joint Venture to act as its UK installation port for phase one of London Array offshore wind farm. The joint venture is the installation contractor appointed by the wind farm's developers: Dong Energy, E.ON and Masdar. The 1GW project in the outer Thames Estuary is the world's largest consented wind farm and will be built in two phases.
