SunEdison is also building two more plants for APS, with a total capacity of 37MW. The utility intends to own the facilities after construction is completed.
First Reserve closes Italian SunEdison deal
US solar giant SunEdison has received the final €230m ($306m) payment from private-equity firm First Reserve for the 70MW Rovigo project in Italy.. Maryland-based SunEdison, a unit of MEMC Electronic Materials, also secured a three-year, $50m revolving debt facility from the Dutch retail bank Rabobank International for solar project development in the US.
