Emcore says it is buying assets from Soliant Energy, a failed California developer of concentrating PV (CPV) rooftop systems. The Albuquerque-based provider of semiconductor-based subsystems is acquiring equipment, inventory, software, licences, intellectual property and tooling for Soliant's TipTilt Tracking product line.. The companies did not provide financial details, but reports suggest that the acquisition, which was part of a creditors' process, cost about $450,000.
