Ecotricity is now planning to appeal the decision at the national government level - "where the decision needs to be taken from the start, to save a lot of time and hassle, and speed up our response to climate change".
Ecotricity slams planning laws after council rejects wind farm
Wind farm developer and electricity supplier Ecotricity has slammed the UK's planning system after its 12 megawatt (MW) Silton wind farm was rejected by local councillors, despite being told by district planners to give the project the green light.
