Dongfang wasthe world's seventh-largest turbine supplier in 2009, according to Danish consultancy BTM.
Dongfang wins major turbine export order
Chinese manufacturer Dongfang Electric has secured the country's first major wind turbine export order. Dongfang has signed a contract to export 166 of its 1.5MW direct-drive turbines to India's KSK for about $203m, according to a statement sent to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
