Developers in rush for PPAs with Taipower
Taipei Taipower, the sole power distributor in Taiwan, is seeking to endorse more than 1,000 applications to sell renewable energy. Taiwan's Renewable Energy Act of June 2009, which requires state-owned Taipower to buy renewable power from the private sector, has led to an overwhelming number of applications for lucrative government incentives.
