Construction of Anholt will represent a total investment of about DKr10bn. The wind farm, located in the Kattegat sea area, between Sweden and Denmark, will power 400,000 Danish households, and will start producing electricity in 2012-13. A majority in the Danish parliament has accepted Dong's plans. Dong was the only bidder for the project.
