Constellation Energy has acquired a 30MW project in California from PV developer Belectric.. The system will comprise 381,000 First Solar thin-film panels, ground-mounted at multiple sites near the city of Sacramento, which will buy the output under ten 20-year power-purchase agreements..
The array is expected to start operating this year.
