Chinese turbines too risky, say analysts
Analysts say the US market is unwilling to accept technology risk - perceived or otherwise - from new entrants. Phil Dutton, vice-president of independent engineering for GL Garrad Hassan in North America, told the US-China Wind Summit in San Francisco last week that no Chinese turbines have been "proven" or "qualified" for the US market.
