Brisbane: Australia's CBD Energy plans to invest A$6bn ($6.26bn) in wind- and solar-power facilities across the country in a joint venture with two of China's biggest renewables companies.. The newly formed AusChina Energy Group, comprising CBD, China Datang Renewable Power and Tianwei Baobian Electric, will develop the projects over eight years to become a significant player in the Australian energy market, says CBD, a diversified renewables and storage group.
