The Spanish wind industry has welcomed changes to the support mechanism for operational wind farms, which reflect an agreement between its representatives and the government in July.. However, the sector is calling on the government to start negotiations on tariff levels for new projects as soon as possible to ensure the industry can meet Spain's ambitious 2020 renewables targets.
