Seattle: The California Valley Solar Ranch, a 250MW PV plant that NRG Solar is buying from SunPower, has been offered a $1.187bn loan guarantee from the Department of Energy (DOE).. The guarantee would cover lenders if companies are unable to repay loans for the project.
