Seattle: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has identified 19 renewable-energy projects with more than 2.6GW in potential capacity that will receive extra resources and focus from agency staff this year. All are on or adjacent to federal lands andinclude nine solar projects -four of which total nearly 1.3GW of thin-film PV capacity -five wind and five geothermal projects. They are spread across 260sq km in five Western states - although the majority are in California.
