Rio de Janeiro: The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is finalising due diligence on funding for two wind farms in the Dominican Republic. The 30MW Bani wind farm being built by Spain's Inveravante will cost $88m. The 50MW Montecristi project being built by Parques Eólicos del Caribe, reportedly working with Gamesa, is expected to cost $94m. The IDB is fine-tuning how much it will finance in partnership with the European Investment Bank.
