Australia playing catch-up
Peter Rae, the man who in 2004 was instrumental in setting up the International Renewable Energy Alliance in Bonn, is still going strong at the age of 78 and he is not impressed by the "regrettably" slow pace of Australia's renewable-energy development. Rae believes it is high time Australia had a national energy policy, and the development of the grid should be part of it.
