The deal will see Cornwall-based Mimer provide 5MW of geothermal heating and cooling for businesses and municipal buildings in West Warwick, 50 miles south of Boston.

The project will eventually include wind, solar and hydropower installations

Mimer will operate the renewable energy infrastructure for 15-20 years, after which it swill transfer the assets to the local community as a micro-utility.
