Current capitalization of SST is $13.8m, which includes 60,000acres of federal land administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), state and fee leases in seven areas in three states.
BLM, part of the Interior Department, manages and conserves resources on public lands that represent about 13% of the total US land surface. This decade it has made more area available for geothermal development through lease sales to the private sector.
