The Andean nation’s Ministry of Energy and Mines said the tender for the Puchuldiza Sur 1 and Puchuldiza Sur 2 geothermal blocks, which are located in the northern-most Region I, has attracted said both international and local developers.
The tender closes on 31 March while awards are expected to be announced 1 April.
One joint venture, Energía Andina, includes state-run oil company Enap and Antofagasta Minerales.
