US player GE is already one of the leaders in Brazil's 2GW-a-year wind power market with over 15% of installed and under construction wind farms and, in early August, the company announced a 25% increase in its turbine capacity.
The expansion was made possible after the entrance of the Swedish yaw and pitch bearings in Brazil, the second supplier of this key component removing an important bottleneck in the country's new wind turbine market.
