The CBI’s criticism, which is spelt out in a new report called “Decision Time”, is a slap in the face for the government, which has tried to get major UK businesses to support its policies through its low carbon business summits and other initiatives.
The CBI says that “current policy is incentivising investments in wind power which will result in too little investment in other forms of low carbon energy, such as nuclear and clean coal”.
