While EDF and the UK Government wrangle over how Hinkley Point C in England will be funded, Alex Salmond has long made clear that there will be no new nuclear in Scotland on his watch. What irony then that the atom splitters, in a round-about way, are behind one of the biggest obstacles to onshore wind in the country.
