Applicants will now find out which have qualified as eligible generators to enter the auction process. Information on eligibility criteria will not be made publicly available, but applicants will be informed directly.
"It will be the job of the Low Carbon Contracts Company [LCCC] to finally publish the CfD notifications. How soon will depend on the review and appeals process - we don't have a date for that yet," says a National Grid spokesman.
