Albion said its Albion Community Power (ACP) unit will target windand solar projects, along with other renewable sources, describing them as“proven technologies”.
The VC group said it will tap into feed-intariffs and other UK government incentives.
To date Albion has invested, or is in the process of investing, £32m inrenewable energy.
It is offering investors a targeted return of about 6%.
