Between them, the major-component test centre in Brande andthe blade facility in Aalborg comprise the biggest wind technology R&D hubin the world, Siemens claims.

The Brande centre is geared up to test components includinggenerators, main bearings and complete nacelles.

The seven test stands in Aalborg can fully-trial Siemens'75-metre-long B75 blade, and will be able to cope with even longer structures.
