Last week, Jin Kato, general manager of the Wind Turbine Business Division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) told Recharge that MHI expects to supply 700 of its 7MW Sea Angel turbines – or around 5GW, to Forewind participant SSE for projects including Dogger.
The Forewind spokeswoman says: “[Mitsubishi] was talking about a relationship with SSE, but from Forewind’s perspective the turbines are nowhere near selected.
