EGP posted a net profit of €269m for the January-June period, a 21.7% boost on the first half of 2012.
Revenue grew 22.3% to €1.46bn, helped by a one-fifth growth in net power production to 15.2TWh.
EGP reached the end of June with a net installed capacity of 8.7GW, compared to 7.6GW at the same stage last year. It has added 700MW so far this year.
