The UK oil major has put up the "for sale" signs on its US wind power operations as it shifts the focus back to more profitable oil and gas.
In 1997 former chief executive John Browne broke the mould and started BP’s efforts to move “Beyond Petroleum” when it became the first oil major to encourage precautionary measures to combat global warming.
