The joint venture – known as Solarcentury Africa – will bebased in Johannesburg, and focus on ground-mount and commercial rooftopprojects, as well as off-grid systems.
Momentous, which is building a 7MW ground-mount array awardedin South Africa’s first renewables tender in late 2011, has partnered previouslywith Solarcentury on several rooftop projects.
London-based Solarcentury says it will offer everything fromdevelopment and finance to EPC and monitoring services in South Africa.
