Meyer Burger, one of the world’s largest suppliers of PV production equipment, says it has taken in two orders worth CHf5m ($5.4m) – from SunSolar Energy in the UK and Gigastorage in Taiwan.
The order from SunSolar comes a year after the company was awarded £5m ($7.7m) from the UK’s Regional Growth Fund to build a the UK’s first automated PV module-assembly line, in the West Midlands.
