The anti-subsidy investigation – which is looking at claims of unfair support given to PV equipment produced by companies in China – will however continue in an attempt to find “definitive findings” by the end of this year, the European Commission (EC) said.
The decision to kick into the long grass any immediate action over subsidies avoids rocking the boat at a delicate stage of trade relations between Europe and China.
