While the Trade Commission has still not revealed the exact offer upon which the deal was struck, trade officials have said that Chinese modules will be sold in European for no less than €0.56/W ($0.74/W) – roughly on a par with today’s level – and at a volume no greater than 7GW per year.
The Commission says it received “almost unanimous support” from Member States for the accord, the details of which will be published tomorrow and enter into force on 6 August.
