The call for talks by Commerce Minister Chen Deming follows allegations by European companies that Chinese manufacturers are selling the panels in the EU below their market value.
Chen urges EU politicians and companies to negotiateto avoid greater losses on both sides.
“We hope to address the dispute throughnegotiations between Chinese and European companies and boost our industrialco-operation and seek third-party markets,” he says.
