Full planningpermission for Oakapple Renewable Energy’s project at Haigh Hall Farm is likelyto be granted early next week by the City Council’s planning committee, after two outstanding issues are resolved.
A spokesman for thedeveloper tells Recharge that no decision has yet been made on the module supplier.
The solar farm willsit in part on green belt land and generate an estimated 7,200MWh per annum,providing enough electricity to power 2,000 homes.
