Nordex said on Friday "negotiations are currently being held" concerning the San Gabriel wind farm.
The project will feed green electricity to the Chilean grid at the latest at the beginning of 2022.
Further details on the start of construction work and the project will depend on the outcome of the ongoing negotiations, according to Nordex.
Chile’s power auction saw 12,430 GWh/year put to tender, covering 30% of anticipated consumption in the regulated electricity market from 2021.
