The platform, delivered by Norwegian Aibel out of its Haugesund yard for main project contractor ABB, will be able to handle throughput of some 916MW from the three wind farm DolWin cluster, and convert incoming alternate current production for export some 100km to shore via a high voltage direct current (HVDC) trunkline.
