The UK seabed landlord has reached two agreements so far (on the 4.8GW Doggar Bank and the 630MW Navitus Bay) and a third (the 7.2GW East Anglia) is in advanced discussions.
Since the award of Round 3 zones in 2009, developers have had exclusive rights to areas of the seabed, to identify the best locations to develop their projects. However, with this appraisal phase largely complete, their focus is shifting towards development and delivery.
