Dutch contractor Van Oord and heavylift contractor Mammoet installed the two-section turbine using a floating crane.
Live testing and commissioning of the 48 Siemens 3MW turbines will begin in the autumn.
In November, Van Oord acquired the offshore installation activities of fellow Dutch group Ballast Nedam, in a deal that covered the heavylift vessel Svanen, engineering, procurement, contracting and installation staff and the contract for Westermeerwind.
