Trade body the Renewable Energy Association (REA) says the government must stick to its timetable of unveiling an overhaul of its current Renewables Obligation scheme by the end of the year, and provide sufficient support for biomass.
Launching a lobbying drive called "Back Biomass", the REA said many projects would “hang in the balance” until the industry and its investors receive clarity.
