LS9 raises $25m in funding as Chevron unit joins investors

Startup LS9 says it has successfully raised $25m in a round of funding, about one-third of what the biotechnology company hoped to raise last fall as the global financial crisis took hold.

CTTV Investments, the venture capital arm of Chevron Technology Ventures; Flagship Ventures; Khosla Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners were the participating investors.
