The plant, which Iberdrola has set up in partnership with the regional government will clean up and prune off 26,000 tonnes of forest waste per year from the surrounding wood and scrubland, helping to prevent fires and the spread of pests and producing 2 MW of power, enough to supply electricity to the 14,000 people of the local village of Señorío de Molina de Aragón.
