Buffalo Diesel, with $3.5 million in annual revenue and $1.5 million in gross earnings, will become a wholly owned subsidiary of HydroGenetics. Buffalo Diesel is headquartered in western New York state.

It can also refer to lower-quality grades of tallow from rendering plants that convert waste animal tissue into stable, value-added materials.
