H2Herten begins work on biogas Blue Tower
Solar Millennium subsidiary H2Herten has started building its Blue Tower biogas demonstration plant. Located in Herten, Germany, the Û24.6m ($31.3m) project will produce hydrogen and electricity from roadside green cuttings in a 42-metre tower.
