Colmac owns a 47MW biomass power plant tin southern California that is fueled primarily with clean diverted wood waste, green waste and agricultural residues. It meets the energy needs of about 47,000 homes.
The plant sells all energy output to Southern California Edison under a long-term agreement.
Earlier this year, Colmac purchased the 30MW Honey Lake biomass plant in Wendel, California, and a 28MW biomass plant in Scotia, California.
