Trans World will sell output from 40MW of biomass-derived power, which it says is enough for 10,000 homes and renewable energy credits.
Financial terms of the deal were not released.
The plant will be located on western side of central Florida. Trans World, which will build, own and operate the plant, expects it to run at a minimum 94% capacity and produce 329,373MWh of electricity a year.
