Renewables are expected to take on a more significant role into 2030, despite oil, coal and natural gas still accounting for about 80% of global energy mix, according to Andrew Swiger, ExxonMobil’s senior vice president.
Worldwide energy demand is anticipated to increase by about 35% by 2030 from 2005 levels, Swiger says.
