Speaking on the sidelines of the Cambridge Energy Research Associates (Cera) event in Houston, Colombia’s energy minister told Recharge the nation wants to develop more renewable fuels to blend with conventional gasoline and diesel in one of South America’s most prosperous economies.
“We have the land that we can use for palm oil and sugarcane production,” Colombian Energy and Mines Minister Hernan Martinez told Recharge.
