In the first phase, CCEE tendered for output of 9.66TWh at an average of R$154.18 (about $87.50) per MWh, from plants with a combined capacity of 286.9MW going on line from 2011. All the projects will use biomass from sugar cane.
São Fernando Energia 1 won bids for power in 2011, 2012 and 2013 totalling 4.45TWh at R$154.4/MWh. UTE Angelica won lots adding up to 1.97TWh
