Enerkem also announced that it had signed a memorandum of intent with the Three Rivers Solid Waste Management Authority of Mississippi (TRSWMA) for the supply of 189,000 tons a year of unsorted municipal solid waste for use as feedstock at the Pontotoc facility.
Other feedstock to be used by the plant will include wood residues from regional forest and agricultural operations, construction and demolition debris, and treated wood.
