The money from the Funtec fund supports the development of technology and innovation for sectors prioritized in Brazil’s productive development.
New technologies in wind, solar, biogas and waste residue power will be high on Funtec’s list this year. Energy storage for electric vehicles will also be a targeted area.
Funtec monies can represent up to 90% of the value of a project, which must be presented by technology institutions with the participation of companies already involved in the relevant sectors.
